Saar-Hunsrück Climb - 25th leg: Grimburgerhof - Stausee Kell
From the Grimburgerhof it goes up to the partially reconstructed medieval Grimburg. The ascent to the tower of the castle is worthwhile because of the sensational view of the surroundings of the valley of the Wadrill. Then we hike through the romantic, lonely valley of the Wadrill with its wonderful meadows.
At the Keller Steg, continue towards Kell am See. After crossing the Hunsrückhöhenstrasse we reach a ridge with wide views. We meet the Ruwer-Hochwald cycle path. If you want to visit Kell, you can turn there via an access road. The further course of the climb leads through lonely forests to the source of the Ruwer.
The stage ends at the reservoir in Kell with its numerous leisure activities.
